Chelsea 2-1 Hull City

Didier Drogba's double got new Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti off to a winning start against Hull City.
But they had to come from behind after Stephen Hunt put the Tigers ahead in the 27th minute at Stamford Bridge to cap his debut after signing from Reading on Thursday.
But 10 minutes later Chelsea levelled when Drogba's superb dipping free-kick beat the despairing dive of Boaz Myhill.
Two minutes into stoppage-time, Drogba netted the winner with a exquisite chip from a tight angle to the left of goal.

Ferguson: Top-flight still the best

Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson says the Barclays Premier League is still the best domestic competition.
A combination of Barcelona's comprehensive Champions League final victory over United last May, plus the unprecedented levels of spending by Real Madrid, have led some to claim La Liga has edged ahead of its English counterpart.
But Ferguson, whose side tackle newly-promoted Birmingham City at Old Trafford on Sunday, does not feel the argument is valid, with old rivals Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal remaining at the forefront of the European game.
MOST COMPETITIVE
"Some people have said the power has gone back to Barcelona and Real Madrid. I don't know how they can say that. There is no evidence," said Ferguson.
"Over the years the Premier League has become the most competitive in Europe. I have no doubt in my mind about that.
"Barcelona deservedly won the European Cup last season but if you look over the last four or five years, the English teams have shared the real glory of Europe.
"I still feel the Premier League is the toughest in Europe."
Yet for once, there is an element of doubt over all the leading contenders, particularly with Manchester City's level of spending in the transfer market over the summer.
"I don't believe there is a doubt about the top four. Not in my mind," countered Ferguson.
"The top four is well established and have all the criteria; experience, quality, good stadia, good squads. That top four will still be hard to beat."

Terry feels Chelsea unity will be key

John Terry believes that keeping the Chelsea squad together has given them the edge over their title rivals.
The Chelsea and England captain helped his side get off to a winning start under new coach Carlo Ancelotti on Saturday - courtesy of two goals from rejuvenated Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba.
Drogba recently signed a contract extension with Chelsea that will keep him at the club until 2013 and the striker's decision to stay, plus new deals for Florent Malouda and John Mikel Obi, have convinced Terry that the stability of their squad could be a crucial element of the title race this season.
HELD TOGETHER
"Manchester United have lost Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo, Liverpool have lost Xabi Alonso and Arsenal have lost Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure," he said. "We have re-signed Didier, which is massive. He's just brilliant and a winner and that has been important to Chelsea.
"Malouda and Mikel have also re-signed. Flo had a great second half to last season and has started this time where he left off.
"The hunger among the boys this year to win the Premier League is as strong as ever. We want that and the Champions League and, with our squad being held together, there are plenty of reasons for optimism."
